PINK "ME" Community Socials brings together survivors, individuals in treatment, caregivers, and supporters in a welcoming environment where authentic connections, encouragement, and friendships can flourish. Through shared experiences, wellness activities, and community gatherings, we help ensure that no one walks the breast cancer journey alone.
2. Financial Assistance Grant Program
Helping families focus on health- not financial hardship.
PINK "ME" provides direct financial assistance to eligible individuals in active treatment and survivorship through treatment grants, survivor wellness assistance, food assistance, and other essential support that helps reduce financial barriers during and after breast cancer.
We provide evidence-based educational webinars, trusted resources, advocacy initiatives and community outreach that increase breast health awareness, support informed decision-making, and promote access to care.

What You Should Know About Financial Assistance Support
Our Financial Assistance Programs are designed to help reduce financial stress during treatment and recovery. Assistacne is available on a one-time basis per approved applicant during our annual May grant cycle and is subject to funding availability. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding approval. Applicants will be notified of their application status through the PINK "ME" Patient Portal.

Support for treatment-related expenses and essential needs during active treatment.
Survivor Health & Wellness Grant
Support for healing, recovery, wellness, and overall quality of life after treatment.
These guidelines allow us to serve as many individuals and families as possible with the resources available.
May - June CLOSED
Applications open during the month of May. Approved assistance is distributed, and bills are processed during the month of June.
All applications are reviewed with care and consideration, based on eligibility, available funding, and the timely submission of all required documentation.
Breast Cancer Treatment Health Assistance Grant Program
PINK “ME” Breast Cancer Treatment Health Assistance offers financial assistance for essential living and healthcare-related expenses to individuals actively receiving breast cancer treatment. Program enrollment is available twice annually and is subject to available funding.
Beyond financial relief, our goal is to empower women through education and access to their health information and medical records—fostering informed decision-making, advocacy, and improved treatment outcomes.

Grant Distribution
PINK “ME” ® provides financial assistance through direct bill payments, offering support for immediate needs during breast cancer treatment.
Examples of Grant Support:

Up to $500 Grant → Up to $500 for one month

Up to $400 Grant → Up to $400 for one month
Grant amounts are determined based on demonstrated need, eligibility, and available program funding.
Who Qualifies And What To Know About The Breast Cancer Treatment Health Assistance Grant Program
YOU MUST BE IN ACTIVE TREATMENT. Active treatment is defined and specified as: the period after a positive diagnosis of breast cancer has been made (with a diagnostic biopsy), and during which therapies are being managed, including surgical procedures to remove the cancerous cells (e.g. single or bi-lateral mastectomy, lumpectomy, axillary dissection, or sentinel node biopsy), chemotherapy or radiation. Active treatment does not include reconstruction surgeries or long-term hormonal therapies (including Tamoxifen, Fareston, Arimidex, Aromasin, Femara, Zoladex/Lupron, Megace, and Halotestin).
PINK "ME” Breast Cancer Treatment Assistance Program is not an emergency fund and cannot provide immediate financial assistance.
You must provide proof of a current diagnosis via a signed, dated letter on official letterhead AND complete the PINK "ME” Breast Cancer Treatment Health Assistance Application.
Amount of assistance given on a one-time basis with a financial limit of up to $500.00 based on qualification, available program funds and need.
If I’m Accepted Into The Program, How Do I Receive The Financial Assistance?
The individual selected for this program will not receive the money directly. PINK “ME” will directly make a payment to a bill of the person’s choice that does not exceed the amount of the money given. Payments may be for, but not limited to utility bills, mortgage or rent, car or car insurance payment, health insurance premiums, hotel stay of family members caring for individual, cost for out-of-state care and treatment transfer cost, plane ticket, gas, medication, medical supplies, and office visit co-pays, and much more may be paid with this financial assistance.
Bills in the process of collection will not be considered. By applying to our programs, you are certifying that all information submitted to PINK"ME” is accurate and true, to the best of your knowledge. Any false statements may disqualify you from our program.

Survivor Health and Wellness Assistance Grant Program
Health and wellness is an important process of breast cancer survivors and the process of achieving one’s personal best state of mental and physical health. An active lifestyle can contribute to an increase state of one’s health and wellness. Wellness isn’t just about eating healthy foods, such as lean proteins, vegetables, and maintaining an active lifestyle. It is also about the 7 dimensions of wellness, which are:

2. Emotional
3. Spiritual
4. Environmental
5. Occupational
6. Intellectual
7. Physical Wellbeing
PINK "ME” Survivor Health and Wellness Assistance provide financial assistance for basic living and healthcare expenses to eligible breast cancer survivors.
PINK “ME” Program enrollment is available twice annually and is subject to available funding.
Our goal is to provide resources and financial support to those that are post one year of breast cancer treatments and surgeries.

Who Qualifies And What To Know About The Survivor Health And Wellness Assistance Grant Program
You must be a cancer survivor, past one year of all cancer treatments. PINK "ME” Survivor Health and Wellness Financial Assistance Program is not an emergency fund and cannot provide immediate financial assistance. Amount of assistance given on short-term basis with a financial limit of up to $250.00 based on qualification, available program funds and need.
IF I’M ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM, HOW DO I RECEIVE THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?
The individual selected for this program will not receive the money directly. PINK “ME” will directly make a payment to a bill of the person’s choice that does not exceed the amount of the money given. Payments may be for, but not limited to health and wellness support services, access to post-treatment follow-up care services and health care plans, screenings for a breast cancer recurrence and for second primary breast cancer, accessibility and management of physical and psychosocial long-term and late effects of breast cancer treatment care.
Bills in the process of collection will not be considered. By applying to our programs, you are certifying that all information submitted to PINK"ME” is accurate and true, to the best of your knowledge. Any false statements may disqualify you from our program.

Providing support to through food assistance, care packages, and access to breast cancer screenings. Our programs help ease financial burdens, offer encouragement, and promote early detection, and support survivorship, quality of life, and overall wellness throughout the cancer journey.
Food Assistance Support
The PINK "ME" Food Assistance Program provides electronic grocery gift cards to breast cancer patients and survivors experiencing financial hardship. The program helps individuals and families access nutritious food, reduce financial stress, and focus on healing, recovery, and overall wellness.
Moments That Matter Care Packages
The PINK "ME" Moments That Matter Care Packages Program provides thoughtfully curated packages designed to bring comfort, encouragement, and support to individuals impacted by breast cancer. Whether in treatment, survivorship, or honoring the memory of a loved one, these packages offer meaningful reminders that no one faces their journey alone.
Mammograms Matter New Mexico
Mammograms Matter New Mexico helps increase access to breast health services for individuals impacted by breast cancer and those at risk for breast cancer by providing support for mammograms, breast MRIs, and other diagnostic screenings. The program promotes early detection, timely follow-up care, survivorship, quality of life, and overall wellness throughout the breast cancer health journey.
PINK "ME" Up and Go Tote Bags
Tote bags and swag are provided to individuals who are accepted into the breast cancer treatment or survivor health and wellness program(s).
